This photo of the orchid was taken 30 times. I had to select the best shot. After the 10 or so photo, it became difficult to come up with different shots. I started playing with the camera using the Exposure Triangle which was a bit confusing, but then found some filters in my camera and noticed the negative exposure setting. I took the photo and the look of the Orchid was something that a normal flower would not do.
On this project, I learned to have a tripod to enable me to get better photos and to be open-minded and look at different filters and settings before putting down the camera. I would never thought to take a picture like this.
